Join us Tuesday April 12th for food, fun & fellowship
At long last we are going to have an in-person meeting of the Oviedo Historical Society. It is scheduled for Tuesday, April 12th, at 6:00 pm. and will include a potluck dinner. This will be an outdoor meeting and will be held in back of the Oviedo Woman's Club clubhouse.
roPlease plan to park in the lot across the street from the Clubhouse. The entree and drinks will be provided. It would be appreciated if each family could provide a side or a dessert. To sign up for this meeting and RSVP, click here.
An important agenda item will be accepting nominations for our 2022 Annual Legacy Awards.
Criteria for the award is that the person is an active member of the Oviedo Historical Society, and who are:
1. Members who have a long history of serving the community
2. Outstanding service representative of the values, history, & legacy of the Oviedo community
3. Serve as testament to future generations of Oviedians
This will be the first meeting since our new President, Connor DiMatteo, came into office. Please join us and take this opportunity to get to know him and to learn of his vision for the Historical Society as well as the Farmer's Market.
