Next time you drop in to the Oviedo Farmers Market to check out the Memorial Garden behind the Lawton House, you will begin to see dramatic changes to our Memorial Garden space. A new project is underfoot as we Charge On! to bring more to our members. Working with City, the garden will be updated and expanded. Under the direction of Historian Zackery Surrette, the garden has long been a place to honor our members who have passed. This labor of love has taken countless hours with the help of the Oviedo Farmers Market student volunteers over the years. We are now seeking donations to help renovate this space and return it to its former prominence. Please contact us at Holt.OHS@gmail if you or your organization wants to donate.
